Felt box

This little folding box, one of a group of felt projects I did for HGTV Ideas magazine, is one of my favorites.

It’s made flat with two pieces of contrasting felt, and is adorned with buttons, felt applique, and embroidery. When finished it folds into a neat little box. A piece of lightweight bukram sandwiched between the two pieces of felt makes it sturdy enough to stand.
