My Two Cents on Step by Step Writing

I’m fairly passionate about a subject most folks would consider boring: step-by-step writing. I love to try new crafts and home decorating projects, but too many times I’ve been frustrated by poorly written directions. Often the writer assumes I have prior knowledge of the subject, which is usually not the case. And too many times I’ve gone searching for project supplies only to find that the salesperson at the art store, craft store, hardware store (I keep trying!) has no idea what I’m talking about.

My goal is to make directions as simple as possible with all necessary details included. I care most that the reader can use the instructions to actually make the project.
